How it was composed
Four notes a crowd can climb
The test was brutal and simple: could a stadium chant it? Every sketch was sung aloud by the crew on the studio stairs — anything they fumbled was cut.
The theme climbs from E minor to E major across the film, resolving only at the summit shot. Marching drums were tracked in a stairwell for natural slap; the winds are folk players, not samples.
