Work — Songs
Songs &
production
Melodies written to the script, lyrics that survive the edit, and productions finished to a dub-stage standard.
The process
Written to the script, not to the trend
Every song starts with the scene it has to carry — the script pages, the locked cut, the exact seconds it must fill. Melody first, always: if it cannot be hummed with one finger, it goes back to the notebook.
Lyrics are drafted against picture, then production is built around the voice: live rhythm beds, real strings where they count, and arrangements that leave the singer room to act.
